About the Project: Our company has been hired to write and produce a modest-budget online ad for a small company on their first attempt at breaking into the consumer products market.

I've worked with this manufacturer for a few years producing micro-budget content for them and finally talked them into something much grander. We're looking to give their audience something really powerful to look and remember when they think about their product.

Our script is a whole lot of fun and we're looking for incredible talent to help us make this thing as outstanding as possible.

Our projects are always laid back, low pressure, and fun. Talent receives copy of finished product.

Aunt Esther is the birthday girl at the backyard cookout pool party. She is cool, funny, and terribly charismatic.

Jay

Lead. Male. 25-45

Jay is funny, sweet, lovable, and Esther’s nephew. He's a bit of a dunce—think Steve Carrel as Michael Scott in the Office: he is not self-aware, has almost no shame, and is quite energetic.

Jay's Dad

Supporting. Male. 45-65

Jay's dad is a Frenchman—hence, the French accent. The French accent should be a bit exaggerated and put-on.

Suddenly! is a re-make and modernized re-write of the 1954 hit film starring Frank Sinatra and Sterling Haden. This documentary is going to be a feature length (90 minute) documentary. It is going to be partially re-acted, like all the high budget Netflix documentaries that out there right now.

Hermann Menzoda grew up in Queens New York as the youngest of 5 brothers. His parents immigrated to the USA from the Demonican Republic shortly before his birth. His childhood was characterized by problems, he smoked his first joint and at 13 he smoked marijuana and cocaine for the first time.
As a young adult he got into the drug business, he started counting money, but quickly moved up the ladder and made a fortune. He was arrested and when everything seemed hopeless he met God. Today he meets with governors, speaks at the UN, talks to heads of state and travels the world to share God’s hope with people

FILMING IN GEORGIA

ALL ROLES PAID PLUS IMDB CREDIT, MEALS, LODGING 

Casting "Love at Lookout Lake," an independent feature film. Very similar to a Hallmark style movie. This is a micro-budget production with a script that has been approved by a large distributor who supplies TV Films to cable channels like Lifetime, Hallmark, Up, etc. The producers are experienced working on and shooting TV movies and have connections with distribution.

THIS IS A LIGHT-HEARTED, PG RATED ROMCOM.  

THERE ARE NO ACTUAL SWIMMING SCENES IN THIS FILM BUT WE WILL SHOOT MULTIPLE SCENES IN A ROW BOAT ON THE WATER, THEREFORE SOME OF THE CHARACTERS NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SWIM FOR SAFETY PURPOSES. THOSE CHARACTERS ARE SIERRA BLISS, TYLER O'MALLEY AND STEVE THE FISHERMAN. 

LOGLINE
A gossip columnist gets a tip that could uncover the idenity of a popular mystery novelist, who
apparently has ties to her hometown. She retreats to her family’s lake cabin to sus out this
secretive writer, shocked to run into her childhood crush who still lives across the lake. Warm
weather and a series of charming lakeside encounters spark change in two lonely hearts, who
connect over their shared past, the simple things and potentially... uncover their secret truths.

This project was created by Summer, co-written with Olyvia Chac-Nguyen and produced by Stephanie Duong and SUM SUM Productions. This project is meant to be a short film narrative exploring the themes of identity, multi-cultural family dynamics, adversity with racism and microaggressions and the beauty of letting go. The team is made up of a predominately Vietnamese-American production team. 

Adopted by their immigrant grandparents, a Vietnamese-American kid longs for self-acceptance and discovers the reality of letting go.

The Forge takes place in an old school that's home to a courthouse and police station. Follow Shaw who's never seen on camera but heard. Watch Shaw build is underworld of criminals and dirty cops. Shaw is always under investigation while the other stories and secrets within the walls of the Forge reveal themselves

The story follows Nikki. A nice intelligent female that date the wrong guy. She couldn't take the abuse so she too matters in her own hands. She often took refuge at her best friend Lisa's (lesbian) female. Until that relationship takes a deadly turn

The Video Doctor is virtual film that will be shot through zoom, google meet, and other video chat options. It's an online actor workshop that will produce a digital series. This is a non union and unpaid opportunity but actors will have the opportunity to utlize the content for their resumes. 

The first story is pulled from our Shaw Files film series. It follows a prison psych doctor who moonlights as a fixer who's building his criminal underworld conict by convict.
